We have donated 12 kubikmeters of humanitarian aid
The financial value of this humanitarian aid is difficult to determine as the response of the community was extremely good. Main coordinator of this humanitarian project was Mrs. Vesna Nezic Ruzic, a well known musician. She pointed out that humanitarian aid consists of three parts. The construction material will ne used by the most vulnerable families in Kosinj. We are talking about 3 tons of lime and cement. Bedding and clothing for all ages will ne distributed to the population of Kosinj. Two personal computers, school supplies and toys will be distributed to the children and Kosinj and its primary school. The entire humanitarian aid is packed into 12 kubik meters of donations. The donors from Istria and the president of Lions Club of Pula, Mr. Rinaldo Bicic, were received in Perusic by Mrs. Katarina Milkovic, the director of the Tourist Board of Perusic, Mr. Dragan Hecimovic, the vice-president of Perusic Municipality, Mr. Vlado Brkljacic, the Director of Red Cross Gospic and Mrs. Ana Seric Konjikovac, the President of the Chamber of Trade of Lika-Senj County. |



PERUSIC – BPW, the Association of professional businesswomen has delivered yesterday a very valuable donation to Kosinj in Perusic Municipalilty. This area experienced disastrous floods at the beginning of this year. BPW organized humanitarian action for Kosinj. Many Istrian companies and individuals participated in this action, as well as Lions Club from Pula and Birkina agency, which sponsored the transport and delivery of aid to Perusic and Kosinj, and the transportation costs of the Association delegation. Mrs. Alida Perkov, the President of BPW Association, said that she learned about the floods from the media. At the same time, she learned about the Haitian catastrophe, but the businesswomen of Pula decided to donate their humanitarian aid to Kosinj.
