We have donated 12 kubikmeters of humanitarian aid

PERUSIC – BPW, the Association of professional businesswomen has delivered yesterday a very valuable donation to Kosinj in Perusic Municipalilty. This area experienced disastrous floods at the beginning of this year. BPW organized humanitarian action for Kosinj. Many Istrian companies and individuals participated in this action, as well as Lions Club from Pula and Birkina agency, which sponsored the transport and delivery of aid to Perusic and Kosinj, and the transportation costs of the Association delegation. Mrs. Alida Perkov, the President of BPW Association, said that she learned about the floods from the media. At the same time, she learned about the Haitian catastrophe,  but the businesswomen of Pula decided to donate their humanitarian aid to Kosinj.

BPW meeting will take place on 27 May 2010, at 6 p.m. in the IDA conference room. We will discuss the obligations of the entrepreneurs with regards to the privacy and personal data protection, the information on the registration of BPW members for BPW Danube net - business meetings and ECONOMICA fair, and present the activities of Birikina d.o.o. from Rovinj, a selected entrepreneur, a member of BPW Association.

Valuable donation of businesswomen of Pula and Lions club

Udruga poslovnih žena iz Pule donijela je jučer iznimno vrijednu donaciju u Kosinj, područje općine Perušić koje je početkom ove godine doživjelo katastrofalne poplave. BPW, odnosno Udruga poslovnih žena organizirala je solidarnu akciju u koju se uključio i niz tvrtki i pojedinaca sa istarskog područja, Lions klub iz Pule, te agencija Birikina koja je sponzorirala prijevoz pomoći i izaslanstva udruge u Perušić i Kosinj. Predsjednica BPW-a Alida Perkov ističe da je za katastrofalne poplave saznala putem medija. Nekako u isto vrijeme dogodila se katastrofa i na Haitiju, ipak poslovne žene iz Pule odlučile su humanitarnu pomoć prikupiti za područje Kosinja. Akcija je imala itekako dobar odaziv pa je gotovo nemoguće odrediti financijsku vrijednost ove donacije.
