TEMA company was founded in 1989 by the acknowledged scientist and innovator Prof. Branimir Ružojčić, PhD, and his daughter Kristina Blašković, M.Sc. joined him in 2019.
TEMA is a specialized manufacturer of professional marine electric and hybrid propulsion systems. Our standard production program offers about fifty different high efficiency AC synchronous electric motors in permanent magnet tehnology with nominal power range from about 10KW to over 1000KW per motor.
Our production is mostly export-oriented. In the domestic market, all built ships implementing advanced technologies of high efficiency electric and hybrid drives are powered by TEMA motors. In the past 30 years, we have implemented over 230 systems worldwide. Our quality electric and hybrid solutions guarantee stability, safety and long-term cooperation.
The present and the future belong to electric and hybrid propulsion, therefore TEMA as a specialized manufacturer is always ready to provide information, assistance and actively participate in the development and resolution of specific requirements and issues of each project. We will be happy to present all the features and capabilities of our propulsion motors, variable speed generators and hybrid systems.
TEMA's product range is divided into 3 families with the following nominal power ranges:
- SPM132 - 10 - 40kW
- MWB400 - 20 - 70kW
- LPMR - 200 - 1000kW
Since these are electronically commutated electric machines, they must be paired with special electronics.
