The Darna liquor factory in Rovinj has almost a hundred years of tradition in the production of strong alcoholic beverages / spirits and liqueurs.
The factory started operating in 1925, and from several distilleries and liquor factories that operated during the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the time of Italian rule in Rovinj, only this one is active today. Since 1996, the factory has been operating under the name Darna, privately owned by Mrs. Katerina Latinovic.
Our production is based on original, traditional recipes, and special emphasis is placed on product quality, as evidenced by numerous domestic and international awards.
In Croatia, we market our products through our retail department within the factory, web sales, through wholesale in cafes and restaurants, through selected wine shops and shops offering autochthonous products, in all retail chains, duty free shops, while our exports to the USA, Italy and Germany are increasing year by year.
